Who can make a referral?

You can make a referral to Shakti Womens Aid if:

• You are a woman or young person from an ethnic minority community who is experiencing or looking to flee domestic abuse, forced marriage or ‘honour’-based violence;
• You are a relative or friend who has been asked by someone experiencing domestic abuse to contact us;
• You are the mother of a young person who is living with domestic abuse who needs support (for our CYP Outreach service, the young person needs to be under 18 years);
• You are voluntary or statutory staff with a client from an ethnic minority community who is experiencing or fleeing domestic abuse.
  

To make a referral you can:

• Visit us at our office (no appointment required), or;
• Call us on 0131 475 2399;
  

OR

Send us a message including your name, preferred contact method and message, your organisation (if relevant) plus a message describing your concerns or enquiries.

• Complete our Contact us form, including your name, preferred contact method and message: we will get back to you as soon as possible.
